Matte paint protection film
XPEL Stealth gives you the same rock-chip protection and self-healing top coat as our gloss film, with a smooth satin finish.
Gloss vs. satin

Two reasons to go matte
Protect matte paint, or create it.
Factory matte paint
Matte paint can't be polished or buffed out. Once it's scratched or stained, the fix is usually a repaint. Stealth takes the abuse instead and heals light scratches with heat, without adding shine.
Gloss to satin
Wrap a gloss car in Stealth for a satin look without paint, and with full protection. It's reversible: take the film off and the original gloss is there, protected. Full-body coverage gives the most even look.
Does matte PPF protect as well as gloss?
Yes. XPEL Stealth has the same core protection against chips and scratches, plus a self-healing top coat. Only the finish is different.
Can matte film be removed later?
Yes. It comes off cleanly from factory paint when a professional removes it, and the gloss paint underneath has been protected the whole time.
How do I care for matte film?
Wait 72 hours before the first wash, then hand wash. Skip waxes and polishes; they can leave glossy patches on a satin finish.
